Find:
Observation: Tricholoma caligatum (Viv.) Ricken (10007)

When: 2002-10-20
Seen at: World Forestry Center, Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]
Who: Daniel B. Wheeler (Tuberale)
Herbarium specimen available

Notes: Observed at the 2002 Fall Mushroom Show, Portland, Multnomah Co., OR. Tricholoma caligatum has, to me, a very pleasant aroma similar to T. magnivelare. I would enjoy finding this species so that I could eat it three or four times.
