Este hongo fue identificado como P. cubensis, pero he notado que cuando esta maduro, el sombrero adquiere una tonalidad purpura o violeta, y algunos sombreros tienen hasta 10 cm. de diametro…no se si estas son caracteristicas de esta especie…
