Notas: HABITAT open forest dominated by Pinus ponderosa; SUBSTRATE siliceous rock; ASPECT partly shaded; NOTES extremely rough and white pruinose above, very rough and pale to almost black below.
This was such an odd form that I was sure it was something new. But apparently not. There were intermediates in this population between the nonpustulate and pustulate ones.
