Notes: Two of these found under dead oak in heavily wooded area. Gills pale pink and very close. 5 cm tall and pileus 5.5 cm wide.

Summary: Very likely

It looks very likely to be A. subrutilescens to me. One feature that I look for in this species is the red staining of the gills. It’s not extremely pronounced, but generally if you find one with pink gills and cut or bruise them they will slowly become darker pink.
