Notes: We were kinda cleaning up at the end of the day, around 11pm, pretty tired of mushrooms and ID at that point, and found another pile of unknowns on a side table that never made it to the main table. In this forgetten pile were these.
They are kinda neat, with the aborted, half formed gills, and the seeping latex when cut are the hall marks of Arcangeliella. Arora has one listed as A. crassa, with a photo there. But the photo doesn’t really match these. In the notes it states that A. crassa really is a montane species, and there is a coastal species, which also has a better formed stipe—A. varigata. So, for now I will claim these are they.
