Summary: Just wasn’t sure
Last year, when I was just starting out with trying to id mushrooms, I was sure these were miniata. This year I wasn’t feeling quite so certain. I thought the H. miniata had a granular surface. Not that that would be so easy to see at this size.

Summary: H. miniata?
I generally call these little, bitty orange and red Hygrocybes, H. miniata. That’s probably an over generalization, but I’m not sure how much further you’d get without a scope.
