No herbarium specimen

Notes: A singular specimen fruiting on wood of fallen, rotted log in Oak-Hickory woods. Cap: 1.2 cm.; stem 4 cm. X 1 mm. Stem did not “bleed” when crushed. Unable to obtain spores.

I wondered about that but did not get any red juice when I crushed the stem … possibly ??? an older specimen judging from the cap margin. I appreciate your help on this one. Such a pretty little mushroom=)
