Notes: A gregarious fruiting all along a fissure in a very decayed, moss covered log in Oak-Hickory woods.

the stain off my fingers; however I have accidentally stained a few T-shirts through the years with other species. I know many folks are into dying fabric with mushrooms. There is a list of mushrooms that produce particularly beautiful colors for dyes on NAMA’s web site. I think you’d need a ton of these tiny Mycenas to make a good dye:)

I collected some of these not long ago, I had no idea how long they would stain my fingers, must admit I was impressed.

I wonder if someone collected enough of these, if they would make a good dye.
