Summary: Might want to use Boletus “rexvernus”

I’ve heard this proposed as a name for the spring-time Sierran porcini, but I don’t think it ended up getting published. It does seem to be pretty distinct from both the European B. edulis and the European B. pinophilus. See notes under Boletus “rexvernus” for more details.
