I’ll have to think about this and the alternatives.

Will be doing my sequencing for now. I’m working on getting a pcr machine in the meantime.

Substrate was “top of stump”. While I suppose there’s some wiggle room, I think that means wood.
How are you doing your sequencing?

I’m not sure the subtrate it was on.

If you can air dry it or dehydrate it I can que it in line for when I start sequencing samples. I’ll be doing that next week. This sample will have to wait in line though.

I was unable to get a spore print.
Richard Bishop scoped this, but could find only undifferentiated hyphae.
I will try again, but don’t expect that that I can do better than Dick.

Thanks for Albatrellus suggestion

Thanks for suggesting Albatrellus.
Are any of these on wood? (Collector said this was on a stump.)
