Summary: RE: Should this be Panaeolina castaneifolia rather than Panaeolina castaneifolius?
I got name from Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World, the Stamets book. I will go with the name you suggested as it is the one from indexfungorum.org. Thanks!

Summary: Should this be Panaeolina castaneifolia rather than Panaeolina castaneifolius?
According to Index Fungorum it should be one of:
Panaeolina castaneifolia (Murrill) Bon (1979) Panaeolina castaneifolia (Murrill) Ew. Gerhardt (1996)
A quick Google search turns up a more hits (47) for Panaeolina castaneifolius than for Panaeolina castaneifolia (10), but I don’t see why the gender would change with the transfer from the original name, Psilocybe castaneifolia. Where did you find the name?
