Summary: Only one photo.
I haven’t recently checked with Denise about the specimens. However, she did a thorough microscopic study on them and took over a year before making her determination. She compared them to Bigelow’s descriptions and everything matched except these were slightly greater in average stipe width and were slightly greater overall in the basidia width.

Summary: Rare photo
Now that Denise is about to complete her study, it would be interesting to see if she still feels this is C. concava. A. H. Smith collected it only four times and in 1985 Howard Bigelow wrote in his book “North American species of Clitocybe Part II”: No further collections have been made in North America according to my survey of herbaria. Sounds very, very RARE! Nice to see a photo of it! Got more?
