List of species in Panaeolus (Fr.) Quél. (71)
When: 2007-08-04
Collection location: Madison Heights, Pasadena, California, USA [Click for map]
Who: Jason Hollinger (jason)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: I’ve IDed this multiple times: on 20050531, 20070325, and 20070804.

It’s a pretty uninspiring LBM: dark brown spore print; small, brown, hygrophanous, glabrous, convex cap; no veil (even when young); dark brown gills; scattered in lawns. But it is fairly common (though never abundant) throughout the year in these parts, so it bears mentioning.
