Notes: This specimen was found about 50 yards from Observation 4307. It’s cap is a little darker yellow-orange than the previous specimen but appears to retain most of the macroscopic and microscopic characteristics. However, this specimen was growing in a line with 3 other Amanitas that I would call typical west coast Amaniata vaginatas. A photograph is included of one of them. This raises the question of whether these are just some type of color variant.

Unfortunately my microscope is not set up to make spore measurements. However I’ll send the vouchers and notes of the specimens of both observations.

Summary: Would like to know more about this collection and see specimen.
I’d like to know more about this and the nearby, similar-looking collection. Also, I’d like to know what spore measurements you obtained, etc.
