Summary: Needs new name

Looks like what we call Agaricus praeclaresquamosus, but our western species needs a new name as it is not conspecific with the European material. The correct name for the European species is Agaricus moelleri.

See:

Summary: Definitely Agaricus...

That thick ring makes it look to me like A. hondensis, but the gray cap color might make it A. praeclaresquamosus. It would also be helpful to know if the based of the stipe stains yellow and if the odor is unpleasant, but that’s true of both of the species I mentioned.
