Notes: Found fruiting profusely in a neighbor’s well-shaded yard. All had white pilei in youth which turned bright yellow when rubbed, fading almost instantly. Stipe turned bright yellow, at base, when rubbed, and ferociously bright yellow when broken at base. Slightly phenolic odor when crushed.
