Observation: Agaricus subrutilescens (Kauffman) Hotson & D.E. Stuntz (4600)

When: 2007-10-27
Collection location: Redwood National Park, Orick, Humbolt Co., California, USA [Click for map]
Who: Douglas Smith (douglas)
No herbarium specimen

Species Lists:
Species around Redwood National Park (38)

Notes: These were quite common for the day, probably the most common Agaricus. I took the largest and cleanest home, and fried them up in olive oil, and put them on toast with a little toasted cheese on top. Nice.
