Notes: These were very numerous, not only on cones, but very common on a number of the rotting cones. The top five cones are Sitka spruce cones, and the bottom one is a Douglas fir cone.
I thought these were Strobilurus, but no, they are Baeospora. Id’ed by Dr. Desjardin. I am not sure what the difference is… Although these are more overall grey, and the gills and very dense and crowded.
