Summary: Could be a Cort. but I doubt it
The habitat (thick cyprus or juniper duff) is one where I have found C. nuda in the bay area before. From my experience in that habitat, they tended towards the lavender and often had a brownish center like this one does. They also tend to be a bit more bitter. Finally, the cap in the photo has that not quite definable alabaster look to it that is characteristic of blewits, but I’ve never seen it in a Cort. All of that said, I certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone eat it based solely on what you can see from this photo. Checking for red-brown spores is required before eating any blewit.

Summary: Or easily a cort…
With the bluish tints it could easily be a Cortinarius also. Need more info on the spore color, and gill color, and look for details on the stipe. The Cort. will have threads on the stipe stained red-brown with the spores. But in some Cort. these threads can easily wash off in rain, so might not be definate.

Summary: Lepista nuda
Probably a Lepista nuda (blewit). It should have a cream to pink spore print. There are also some Cortinarius mushrooms which look a lot like that, they would have a brown spore print.
