Notes: slime mold, crowded on rotting hemlock log among moss
CAP: 4-10mm, round, bright pink aging dark brown-gray, matte-shiny, soft and gooey inside when fresh, hard and dry inside when old
SPORE: pink dry spore mass inside balls

These have recurred on the same set of logs for at least four years now, but always in different spots.
