Notes: avg-sized shelf mushroom at base of red ironwood (Reynosia septentrionalis)
ST: none
CAP: 100mm wide, hoof, rich cinnamon brown velvet at growing margin, black concentric ridges and corky inside
FLESH: rich cinnamon brown, dry, corky, v tough, perennial
PORE: cinnamon brown, 6-7 per mm

Looks exactly like the P. rimosus that grows abundantly on dead locust up in North Carolina, but this one is growing on a live red ironwood (family Rhamnaceae), not a dead legume.
