Arora didn’t really do much with the little brown jobs, and he says so in the beginning of his book, mostly to get the most bang for your buck when listing mushrooms in just one book. But he is hiding a magnitude of sins in his Galerina descriptions, hiding dozens or more species under two descriptions. The ones that are on wood with a veil he puts under G. autumnalis, and the little mycena like guys he puts under G. heterocystis. But there are a lot put under here, and G. heterocystis is defined by lack of clamp connections, which is not a good feature, its hard to figure out if it is missing.

But these should drop down to just Galerina sp. until Galerina perhaps get better known…
