Notes: Very big cap, about 10 – 15 cm. Looks very much like chanterelles with the trunk of exactly the same color as cap. However, the gills are white and small.

Summary: Leucopaxillus albissimus

There are a couple of large, whitish Leucopaxillus, but this looks like Leucopaxillus albissimus.
