Примечания: This ID is a little shaky as the taste seemed mild to me and the stem was not as long as indicated in MD. However, everything else seemed to fit and Darvin has a similar looking observation from Point Reyes.

Limited scoping
The only microscope work I did was to look at the spores to verify the general size and ornamentation. Presently I’m not set up or inclined to go into more detailed studies. However, I’d be happy to send parts of my dried collection to interested parties.

If so, I’d be curious about your results as I am digging down into similar Lactarius species such as subviscidus and substriatus. I’m most curious about the structure of the cuticle. Thanks!
