User's votes are weighted by their contribution to the site (log10 contribution). In addition, the user who created the observation gets an extra vote.
Your ID is correct, but the outside of the volva can turn gray in a number of species (I have been meaning to run this question by Rod Tulloss, since I have also found gemmata-like amanitas with this characteristic). It is the inner volval sac that is gray in constricta, not to mention the constriction depicted in your second photograph.
