Notes: Just happened to look out my front door and saw this glowing orange spot on my mulched area.

Has anyone else noticed that it smells like a stinkhorn? Not just a little, but exactly like the smell a stinkhorn gives off.

I can do that. However, I can’t imagine it being anything else, since Google searches of “Bright Orange Slime Mold” and “Scrambled Eggs Slime Mold” have both turned up the same results. This link is from my last search.

Summary: Local is nice

Since it’s so close to you, maybe you can photo it each day and see how it changes. It might be something different than a Fuligo, at least it doesn’t look like the ones we get in California.
