Summary: Taste acrid
In Russulas the taste is either acrid or mild, can’t be both. There are some, that the acrid takes 10 secs or so to kick in, but if they are acrid at all, they aren’t mild.
The mild tasting ones you could chew half the cap and leave it in your mouth for 30 mins, and they would still be mild.

Summary: Too much yellow, too mottled
R. silvicola (aka R. cremoricolor) is usually either pure red or pure white, but can be a mix of the two. These photos have more yellow in them than I’ve seen in this species. Of course, Russulas are hard to get to species without microscopic work. At minimum I’d need a higher resolution photo. The spore print color (pure white or yellow) and confirmation that it’s acrid would be helpful.
