Public Description (default)
When: 2011-06-27
Collection location: Shorecrest High School, Shoreline, Washington, USA [Click for map]
Who: Tim Sage (T. Sage)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found growing in “Construction Grass”, the stuff that is sprayed on and grows voraciously. Near Douglas Fir. Squeezed up right alongside a sidewalk. Disturbed ground.

Staining both yellow in cracks and vinaceous when sliced (sorry no photo).

My gut said Scleroderma, and Dr. Joe Ammirati’s did as well.
