Summary: nice find, and a fungal harbinger of spring!

I have never seen this one in the gelatinous flesh, since it doesn’t occur out here in the West. Very nice photos of a very cool asco. Any asco gets me excited these days since they are harbingers of everybodies favorite asco…the morel!
