Summary: Can you save this one?
Is this one still around? We found one like it, and I saved it, but it was pretty young, and probably doesn’t have spores. This one looks to have spores for comparison.
Also before you dry it, can you check is it bitter or not, and then cut it and see if it stains when cut or bruised. And the use KOH on the cut surface to see if that produces any reactions. (Oh and take photos of the staining reactions if you can (I don’t ask for much do I…))
