It looks like this species has a sterile cap margin that extends beyond the ends of the gills. Moreover, the bulb is smooth and somewhat pointed below, without vertical clefts in the sides and without a distinct shoulder on the upper part. The cap is old enough (and damaged enough) that it should have some bruising reaction. There is no hint of pigmentation looking like radial “hairs” on the cap surface. So I don’t think this can be A. brunnescens.
If this were a slender specimen of novinupta it would certainly be shown the typical bruising on the cap.
I’m inclined to think that the species might be assignable to section Lepidella.
