Notes: This is what I call Tree Moss. It is not uncommon but I have never seen it growing on live Coastal native trees near salt water. It seems to have some type of coloured tips or pores. I have only loaded this image as one of interest and Nathan can take it down anytime afterwoods or when he sees fit. I do not class it as a Lichen.
The fine small rounded texture of the growth is interesting also. Maybe someone into “mosses” would like to make a comment.
