Summary: Ref. desciption

The description reference used states: Caps to 40mm across, convex, becoming broadly convex, often centrally depressed. Margin sometimes undulate. Stems often twisted. Occurs singly or gregarious on the ground amongst conifers. Spores subglobose and covered with spines. Spore print white. This ref. plus the visual led me to be inclined to use this reference being the closest match for me. Hope this info helps. (I will do Spore prints next season and also hope to get a microscope. That will make a lot of people happy and esp. D.V.)

Summary: Spore colour?

This could be a lot of things, but not a Laccaria with those brown gills with pale and fringed edge.
