Recognized by sight: Stipe concolorous with pileus. Laminae decurrent and yellow-orange. Pileus 0.5 to 1 cm. Stipe 50mm x 2mm, paler at apex and sheathed in white mycelium at base. Both stipe and pileus are dry.
Based on microscopic features: Spores smooth, elliptic, hyaline, 8μ x 6μ. Pileus minutely felty.
