Notes: Other names include Lepiota molybdites and Lepiota morgani, this mushroom is poisonous and commonly eaten under the assumption that it is the true edible parasol. The green gills upon maturity discourage any confusion. This particular mushroom was found in an irrigated field of a neighborhood in Glendale.

Dimensions: cap is 80 mm across, the whole structure is 65 mm high, and the stipe is 8 mm thick.
