Summary: Im…

…not getting anywhere with these either. My guess assuming there is no pleurocystidia is Psathyrella subgenus candolleana section candolleana.

Summary: The spores were mounted in KOH.

They did not seem to turn Hyaline in KOH.
I tried the A. Smith tome also but didn’t get anywhere. but it is difficult to navigate those keys.

Summary: .

I was trying to key it out in Psathyrella Species of North America, I think maybe subgenus candolleana section candolleana. Though I need more info. What are the spores mounted in? Do they turn hyaline in KOH (Within 30 minutes or so?).

Also, the text says to look at P. proxima, but I can’t find that species anywhere excluding this which wants $30 to view it.

Edit: On P. proxima which has different sized spores. http://www.cybertruffle.org.uk/...
