“Natural black” morels coming up on the east side of the Cascades. Whether this is M. snyderi or not I’m not sure (it is pretty light colored and obviously young, which fits the description), but you don’t need a latin binomial to eat ’em! This is pretty early in the season relative to my experience; was this at a relatively low elevation?
Can we come up with a location name that avoids using slashes? Wenatchee River Ranger District perhaps?
