Yeah, I have taken people out locally for mushroom walks and plant walks. I also know some lichens. Not a seaweed specialist, though. I live in Albion. Prefer cash, sliding scale, trades acceptable if needed. Have dial-up, so rarely check my e-mail. 937-5201.

Ryane was a really warm, modest man. He has taken me and my friends on many private mushroom foraging expeditions over the years. I think he liked our energy, mellowness, and curiosity. My condolences to everyone else who knew him. I guess I was kind of spoiled, solely replying on Ryane. Does anyone know of any other people who formally or informally take people mushrooming, whether it is for cash, cases of beer, or bottles of wine? I actually had a seaweed harvesting trip on the calendar with him in June. Does anyone know do something similar?

Ryane Snow was found dead in his cabin on Thurs., May 3rd, 2012. Cause of death is not yet known, but it was sudden and unexpected. He did not suffer a long illness nor a lingering death, and had a very high quality of life until the end.
