Observation: Lentinellus montanus O.K. Mill. (94868)
About Lentinellus montanus O.K. Mill. [MyCoPortal]
More Observations (11)
List of species in Lentinellus P. Karst. (71)
When: 2012-05-12
Collection location: Mount Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]
Who: Ron Pastorino (Ronpast)
Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: This lone specimen was growing on a conifer branch near snow melt.
The white spores were amyloid and ~ 6.0 X 5.0 microns.
It mostly fits Lentinellus montanus except I would call these spores almost smooth with little signs of of being verrucose.
