Notes: More than 10 specimens of artist conk fruiting from Western hemlock(not typical for this species to fruit from conifer altho- it does occur). I also noted a resupinate Phellinus species parasitizing the upper portions of this large stump. Been monitoring this large/cut Western hemlock for 5 years- beautiful growth this season.
