Notes: Fruiting under live oak in a lawn. Two present. I forgot to sniff it. Pileus upturned, umbolate, fibrous, scaly at umbo and cracked. Dark brown fibrils on pale background. Shiny. 3.5 cm across. Gills grayish tan, thin, attached, slightly decurrent. Spore print cigar brown. Stipe slightly bulbous at base. Off-white except where handled, then turning pale orange. Slightly striate, minutely scaled at apex. 7mm at apex. Total height 5.7cm.
