Comment: From the literatute I have got: the colour of the cap is very variabile and it is hard to distinguish the species Lepista nuda (syn. Tricholoma nudum)- more brown than violet, Lepista lilaceum (Tricholoma)- more violet, Lepista sordida – red-violet; Lepista sordida grows in the parks and fertile pastures, while the other are all in woods.
