Comment: I was going with L. nuda over C. nuda based on IF, though I am not sure there is enough evidence to reliably assert one name over the other… I’ll leave it to the Clitocybe/Lepista pros to sort it out. Though, I do have a bias preference for the name Clitocybe nuda over Lepista nuda for the same reason I wish Mutinus caninus was still Phallus caninus. |
