Comment on Cortinarius sp. (subgenus Telamonia) (33484)

Created: 2010-02-13 03:27:40 WET (+0000)

By: Ron Pastorino (Ronpast)

Summary: Context was off-white

Comment: for both the cap and stipe. I didn’t detect any strong odor but I’m very unreliable for odor identification.
Also the cap, while seeming to lose some of the lilac tint with age did not really appear to fade in color. They dried a dark brown color. I’m not always clear on how to differentiate Telamonia from Sericeocybes?
