Summary: Neat stalked polypore, a new one on me!

Comment: I was surprised to read that it actually occurs in N. America, too…mostly East and in the PNW, which is why I’ve never seen it…always nice to find a recognizeable polypore, tho, with its large pores and fringed cap edge…we can’t all be Tom Volk!
