Notes: Ten acre square of mature second growth forest. Tree species include Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Western Hemlock, Pacific Yew, Red Alder and Pacific Madrone. Understory plants include Evergreen Huckleberry, Salal, sword fern, mosses, Salmonberry, and other 5 other rubus species. Varied terrain of steep slopes and moist valleys formed from glacial gravel and sandy clay deposits. Approximately one half mile from Possesion Sound salt water beaches. Averages 30 inches of rain per year.
