There are no descriptions for this location yet.

North: 39.5617°
West: -121.57° East: -120.294°
South: 39.0402°

Notes: -Public nature trail, permits not required.

-Trail is a short and easy loop that follows Rock Creek, a small but year-round creek. Incense cedar, Pacific yew, Ponderosa pine, Douglas fir and madrone dominate the habitat.

-Directions (from Nevada City, CA): Take CA-20 E for 6.3 miles. Left turn onto Conservation Rd. (signs for Washington Ridge Conservation Camp). Proceed approximately 1 mile. Left turn off the pavement onto Rock Creek Rd. (signs for Nature Trail). Proceed approximately 0.8 mile. Right turn into Rock Creek Nature Trail parking lot. Clear signage marks the trailhead.

-Although it’s not marked on Google Maps, a right turn on Rock Creek Rd. from the trailhead parking lot will take you back to CA-20. The road is paved and one-way, and is a much easier way to return to CA-20 than backtracking on Rock Creek/Conservation Rd.
