Public Description (default):

Notes:

This area includes the Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge, Fontainebleau State Park, St. Tammany State Game Refuge and Bayou Des Mats. There is also the Tammany Trace that goes along side of Ronald Reagan Highway (190). If you like biking or horse back riding this trail takes you along an old train track nicely paved and marked. You can see what fungi awaits along the trail. I live on 2/3 of an acre somewhere in this area where all of my photographs are taken. I wonder what I would find if I ventured out to all of the Big Branch area.
