Joaquin Miller Park is 500 acre Park in Oakland. It is the old estate of Joaquin Miller a famous traveler and poet of the 19th century. The park has a diversity of forest types from Redwoods, Monterey pine, Oak woodlands to eucalyptus trees.It has over 200 species of native plants.
