Brief Description:

Tacky, candy apple red, convex, pileus. Margin may have a narrow yellow band.
4-13 cm broad.

Flesh yellow bruising blackish blue’

Pores: Dark red with yellow liquid droplets when young, bruising blackish blue.

Stipe: 5-13 cm long, equal or base enlarged, Reddish (base yellowish) with a lacerate reticulate covering. Reticulations yellow.
